About Me
I am a picky, picky eater. I found Foodnetwork about 6 years ago and then the cooking channel. because of these channels I have learned to explore many different food styles and flavors outside of the swamps of Louisiana. I'm still picky, but I do branch out and try different things. Alton mades it simple and tells me why things don't work. Don't tell me that it doesn't work and then not give me a reason, please.....! Giada makes savory Italian simple. I love to cook! I write. I raise rat terriers. I am cajun french, don't fake accents with me, it's an insult. We're not stupid people...unless you're hunting gators on the bayou, or building your home on the beaches around Cameron, Louisiana (not healthy, lots of hurricanes).
Favorite Foods
My favorite food is simple fried chicken, candied yams. peas cooked down in butter, milk gravy made with a dark roux (cajun style), rice (cajun, remember?) hum-m-m-m. This and pork roast with rice and water gravy is what people always want me to cook. favorite restaurant.....Boudin Kitchen.
