Reviewed spoon fudge

Dec 20, 2014 on

I saved this recipe to my recipe box as soon as I saw this episode. I live at 5200 ft and last night I decided to make this fudge for the holidays. As I was cooking the fudge, it was taking forever to reach temp. It finally reach temp, smelled wonderful and I remembered Damaris' warning about not dipping your finger in the pot because it would be...

Wow! I saw this show today and decided to make the marinara sauce and the meatballs and I am so glad that I did. The marinara sauce was delicious! I was sceptical about the butter but I tasted the sauce before and after adding the butter and I am so glad that I did. The butter makes the sauce rich and adds a wonderful taste.

Reviewed mexicana meatloaf with cilantro pesto and crispy tortilla strips

May 25, 2014 on

I made the meatloaf and cilantro pesto tonight for dinner and it is delicious. I used 1 pound each ground beef and pork and added Damaris Phillips' chorizo seasoning. I did not add the corn (don't eat corn) but I did add the can of black beans and it gave the meatloaf a very nice flavor. I always add veggies in my meatloaf, but the spice blend was...

I have never eaten polenta like this, usually eat it soft. But I will make this dish again. I served it with the meatloaf from the same show and this was a delicious meal. I did put some of the cilantro pesto on the polenta cake and that was a nice addition.

The heat of the grill will kill any bacteria. The bacteria is on the surface of the meat, not inside the meat. The only time you need to be concerned with bacteria is with ground meat because...

Wow! I love latkes but I have never made them with sweet potato. I saw this episode today and decided to make these for dinner and they were delicious. The sweet potato gives the latke a lovely sweet taste and mixes well with the potato. The sweet potato caramelizes on the surface which adds so much flavor to the latke.
I eat gluten free...

I made this recipe as written, except to add the garlic and mix all ingredients together before putting on fish. The sauce was wonderful, the fish was moist and flaky. This is a definite keeper. To the reviewer who didn't think olives, lime and fish would taste good together, this is a Mediterranean dish and those ingredients are Mediterranean. Th"

I watch Aarti make this and decided to make it last night. I seasoned my milk with some cumin, coriander, smoked paprika and salt before I separated the whey so my cheese has a spiced flavor. I just tasted it this morning and it is delicious. The cheese is creamy and the background note of the spices add to the flavor. I am going to make a wrap...
