My Activity

Reviewed Hamburger or Sandwich Buns

"The combination of the recipe instructions and lindaj's review was all I needed the properly prepare these rolls. They came out perfectly and actually look like store-bought hamburger buns. I think 10 is too few rolls for this recipe. 12 to 14 rolls from this recipe will give you a nicer sized bun for 1/4 pound size burgers and other things of reasonable portion size."

Reviewed Ham, Gruyere and Apple Panini

"I made them with sliced fresh pears instead of apples. A very nice change of pace for using up Christmas ham! I also use the grill pan and brick combination instead of a panini pan. Works just fine.

Reviewed Cinnamon-Chocolate Fudge

"Easy and very good. My wife isn't a dark chocolate fan, but this was quite acceptable to her. The kosher salt sprinkles added a worthwhile contrast. 1" squares are the right size for these little gems.

Reviewed Gingerbread Cookies with Royal Icing

"Outstanding and easy to make. I did wrap the dough in plastic wrap before refrigerating which helped keep the moisture level where it needed to be. I didn't have any problem with dry dough. I opted for the vanilla instead of the lemon for the frosting and it worked fine. I divided the frosting into several sub-batches to allow for a variety of frosting colors out of the same recipe. This also worked very well. I was able to get 30 2" bears out of this basic recipe.
