1-1/2 INCH SIDES -- NO HOME COOK THAT I KNOW HAS A PAN WITH THIS SIZE SIDES. THEY HAVE 1 INCH SIDES, THEREFORE THE CAKE WILL NOT RISE PROPERLY AND THE MIDDLE IS RAW AS THE OUTSIDES ARE DRY.
