Reviewed Chicken Stock

Apr 18, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I buy whole chickens at Costco and cut them up for pieces for other recipes. The wings and other remaining pieces go to the stock. Two chicken "remains" per stock pot. My wife calls it liquid gold and we use it for everything. With a rue it make excellent fast gravy. Good for the sauces, for the brazing liquid, for rice, etc."

Reviewed Southern Fried Chicken

Love the taste. Two times before the chicken was undercooked. I cut up whole chickens for the pieces and now I use a automatic controlled frying pan, take the temp to assure 350 deg., and do the dark meat at 10 min. PER SIDE and the white meat at 8 Min. PER SIDE.
Everything turns out perfect now."
