This is a delicious pot roast, if a bit pricey. Leeks here are .99 each and this calls for 3 or 4. By the time you add the fresh herbs, wine, cognac and canned tomatoes, you've invested a fair amount of money for a roast. The flavor is outstanding, for sure but............... ""

A cautionary note: Someone recommends using 2T cumin and 4 OUNCES of chili powder. My entire bottle of Chili Powder contains 2.75 oz. So, you would be using almost two whole bottles? Very excessive.
