"I used 1/2 splenda (brown and granulated) and 1/2 regular for the recipe and it was just fine. Have to be very careful about cooking time though - they burn easily. Reviewed Paula's Loaded Oatmeal Cookies

"These were definitely not regular oatmeal cookies. I didn't care for the icing, so for the second batch we upped the spices & sugar and they came out lovely.

Easy recipe and easy to make. I added a bit of dried cranberry and orange peel after reading some of the comments - and boy did that add to the aroma and taste. We'll be making these again.""

"Either my grown daughter did something wrong or these were horrible. I love shortbread, but these tasted terrible. I would recommend reviewing the recipe and comparing it to others to ensure that it is correct as shown. Even the chocolate didn't help. The cookie left a greasy-like aftertaste and were exceptionally bland (more so than usual). I ""
