Reviewed Southern Biscuits

"Easy and delicious- enough said. Make these biscuits once and you'll be hooked. Thanks, Alton!"

Reviewed Chocolate Cookies W/Hershey's Cocoa Powder

"Delish! My new favorite. I made mine with crisco rather than butter. When they cooled they were firm on the outside and soft of the inside just like I like them. I love that they are not too sweet. I made them plain, but you could certainly play with these be adding all sorts of stuff."

Reviewed Peach Cobbler

Also I did my own thing with the mashed potatoes, but used Alton's recipie as a guide. I also used beef stock rather than chicken. My family LOVED it. Don't make the mistake of usin"

Reviewed Grilled Potato Salad

"I microwaved my potatoes rather than boiling them. That worked fine except that I should have cut my potatoes just a little bit smaller. I also added vidalia onion which was yummy. My fiance (potato junkie) liked it and just picked the sweet potatoes out. I thought the sweet potatoes added an interesting twist. "

Reviewed Sweet Corn and Chicken Soup

"Yummy! I followed Aarti's basic format, but definitely tweaked it to accomodate ingredients I had. It helped that I watched the episode where she made it. I also left out the egg white, as I'm not a fan of egg in soup. I added some onion and celery, but the end result was a delicious, different very Asian chicken soup.
