Reviewed Lemon Pound Cake
"This is a great recipe! I modified it a little by adding sour cream and more sugar. You can find my abridged recipe if you google "ispyablog". So yummy, sweet and tart! ""
Reviewed Sugar Cookies
"This is a great and reliable recipe. I tweaked it a little by substituting milk for half and half and adding some vanilla. In the future, I would love to add some pumpkin spice or cinnamon too. I used leaf cookie cutters, vibrant icing/glaze and chocolate drizzle. They turned out beautiful and stayed close to form.

Reviewed Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
"These cookies are tough to cook at high altitude, my favorite go-to chocolate chip cookie recipe involves flour and equal parts sugar/brown sugar. Google "I spy cookies" to check out the full recipe on my blog "I Spy with My Little Eye". ""
Reviewed Squash Soup in Pumpkin Bowls
"I love this recipe, it is so easy, especially if you take a few shortcuts such as purchasing pre-cut squash and foregoing the pumpkin bowls. I really enjoy adding bacon and homemade croutons as the toppings. For a full account of my recipe, check out my blog at ispyablog . com""
Reviewed Butternut Squash Soup
"Here is a great version with water instead of chicken stock. I never have enough chicken stock in the house, so I am always looking for a substitution. This is a recipe abridged from the fall 2010 food network magazine with some added homemake croutons and bacon.

Reviewed Red Velvet Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting
"I think Paula Dean's cupcake recipe is a great starting tablet for red velvet cupcakes. Essentially, I toned down the oil and amped up the coco powder and buttermilk. Check out my blog post for a full recipe change. Also, the thought of using so much butter in frosting makes me sad, so my recipe has a lighter, yet still delicious, frosting recipe.""
