"I've made this recipe several times now, and always get rave reviews. It is awesome as is. However, my co-workers love when I make spicy brownies: This recipe + 1/2 tsp chipotle chile powder stirred into the batter; bake as directed. Sift together 1/2 TBS cinnamon + 1/2 TBS cocoa powder + 1/8 tsp chipotle chile powder and dust top of brownies."

"Ordinarily, I'm a very good home baker, but I was disappointed with this recipe. However, it may not be the fault of the recipe. I was unable to find the primary flavor ingredient for the cake, the mango concentrate, in our local stores. So I reduced the mango nectar on the stovetop, but I'm sure it's just not as flavorful as the concentrate. "
