Reviewed the chewy gluten free

I added 1/2 tsp instant coffee to enhance the chocolate flavor and also separated the dough into two pieces, flattened each between waxed paper, and put in the freezer for 20 minutes then shaped pieces into 2 1/2" discs. Worked well but not as good as the real thing. This comes from a baker that does not eat gluten free, so I'm a tough audience.

Got to tell you-I think boxed cake mixes are gross. So is 7 cups of sugar in cream cheese icing. In a world where the average American consumes 160 pounds of sugar a year in 2012 versus 2 lbs. in 1950 it's a no-brainer there is so much diabetes. I'm not opposed to sweets, but if I'm going to consume them (or my loved ones) they'll be high quality "

I always use Martha Stewart's pie crust and make it "short". Super easy in a food processor. Handle it very little, roll it out on wax paper for easy transfer. Really good. I am going to reduce this further and use it in a green bean casserole for Thanksgiving instead of Campbell's (the thought of mushy canned beans, soup, and processed onions is gross). Let you know how it turns out.
