Key here is look for USDA choice. Fred Meyer here in my home town had a great deal on prime, bone in......looking at the label it was not USDA choice...makes a huge difference!!

What is ironic is I ALWAYS cook a prime rare(except one time that was a disaster) and what I like to do is have a HOT cast iron pan on the stove and for anyone who likes it a bit more well done, just pop the prime slice in with some oil....super yummy and then everyone is happy!!
