Amazingly moist, chocolately. I often use the recipe for cupcakes. Batter is loose, but will firm up! My only suggestion is that if you add the coffee to the buttercream frosting it is very mocha-y (kids don't care for it, and some adults have mentioned that it's too much coffee I simply omit it from the buttercream portion (it's fine for the cake"
