after sixty years of cooking for myself without anything but a purity cookbook as a guide to the handed down recipes my mother bought from Ireland when she left her farm as a result of "the troubles" i find mr. brown even though he uses a lot of powertools to do the job has basically the same ideas about what food should look and taste like as i do. anyone can make a mess of a recipe it takes a bit of work and thinking to come up with one that does not.
