Reviewed grilled flank steak with gorgonzola cream sauce

Feb 27, 2014 on

if you like cheesy the sauce is for you! the 4 oz made it too cheesy for me. And it turns out my boyfriend isnt a fan of sauce on steak however, I will use the leftover sauce to make this meal for friends or add to mashed potatoes. Also, I marinated the steak in garlic and olive oil as some other reviewer recommended and it was really really delicious....

I really love Ree and I bake 2-3 times a week, however this recipe was a complete failure. Over the last 36 hours, I have tried this recipe 3 times and each effort was a failure. the first time I assumed that the milk was still too hot when I added the yeast bc the dough didnt rise. On the second trial, I waited for the milk to cool for 45 mins p"

This recipe was literally gross. Gross is an understatement. I made it exactly as the recipe called for and the smell was nauseating. Seriously, i didn't want to eat the pasta i had with it simply because the smell of the chicken beside it made me want to vomit. I'm not pregnant, and I generally have no sensitivities to smell when it comes to food"

Usually Paula Deen's recipes are THE BEST, this one however was ok. good at best. I thought the bread was too soggy, even for french toast. And it was ridiculously sweet. I made the recipe exactly as mentioned and honestly im not upset that its not the most delicious recipe of Paula's because there are waaaay too many carbs to enjoy this guilt-fre"

Forgive me Paula bc you know I live by your recipes but this was a not amazing. The big problem for me was the 4 qts of water the recipe calls for. I used a 1.5 qts and after i separated the chicken from the bone i needed to remove 4 cups of water before adding the condensed soup because the broth was so thin. Also I had to add another can of soup...

I saw the episode yesterday and decided since it looked so easy, why not? i baked it yesterday and everyone has thought highly of it. my mother thinks it's "really good" and she is the type nit-pick so that means quite a lot coming from her. Personally I think its not sweet enough, id prob add a fourth cup more of sugar or sprinkle extra cinnamon...

I've made this recipe numerous times and the first few times were definite winners but the last few have been so-so. I've followed the recipe the same way always but the size of the pan I cook in really makes a difference in the taste, If I use a 9 by 13 the dough is more biscuit like but when I use a 8 inch round cake tin the dough turns out soft...

I've made this recipe twice. My family and I enjoy it but the pastry portion has always been a bit difficult to master. Each time it has turned out a little different then the time before but I follow the same recipe and cook under the same conditions?! Personally, I always double the amount of evaporated milk (heavy cream) suggested, so that the...

The recipe was not as difficult as I expected which was nice. Overall, it was uncomplicated to make and it proved to be a tasty cake. The downfall for me was that it turned out dry. I will try the recipe again in the future but next time Im going to add some vanilla pudding or an extra cup of yogurt to give it the moisture it desperately needed.
