“Love it. To make it a one-dish meal, I added 2 cups of cooked chicken (poached in stock and cubed at 1/2 inch) and deleted the mushrooms. I also used half-and-half instead of cream -- the casserole was still rich and creamy. It needed more liquid because of the chicken addition, so I added a half cup each extra half-and-half and stock.
