"The other commenters are absolutely correct about the dryness of the batter. It's so bad, I believe they accidentally omitted an ingredient. There's NO WAY the batter could form something palatable without an egg or water.
I added an egg and got a nice smooth batter and puffy cookies. The cookies are good, not great. The filling is great, however.""
