Reviewed Pear Fritters

"I made these with apples instead of pears and they were delicious. I sprinkled them with powder sugar, slathered em with butter and drizzled apple cider syrup on top and ate them for breakfast. FANTASTIC!! The batter had plenty of flavor as is, no need to change anything to the recipe. Very easy to make, follow the recipe exactly and you can't""

Reviewed Banh-mi Wrap: Vietnamese Grilled Pork Wrap with Pickled Carrots and Mint

"I catered my own wedding. Made these, but put them on baguette bread and some on rice paper wraps. The pork was AMAZING!! You can smell the spices in the marinade as it sits, and then when you grill it they smell wonderful. I served the sandwiches cold and everyone loved these! Reviewed Tres Leches Cake

"This cake is very easy to make and affordable and definitely something 'different' to serve to guests. I did not use the coconut as my family doesn't like it and it was still delicious. I've never tried tres leche cake before, so i didn't really have anything else to compare it to, but we definitely liked it. I let it sit for a couple of hours before serving and it was good but really was much better after it sat overnight when we ate the leftovers the next night...and even better a couple days later. So, it's not really anything you'd want to quick whip up for dessert tonight. I'd suggest making the cake with milk mixture a couple days before you want to serve it. And next time i make it, i'll add a little sugar to the whipped topping or possible some lemon zest to jazz it up a bit since we didn't use the coconut. All in all, another great recipe from Sandra. :"
