My Activity

Reviewed Balsamic-Glazed Salmon

"Simmered glaze for 40 or so minutes- never thickened, but reduced by half. Tasted strong on a spoon, but really good on fish and white rice. Misted fish w/ EVOO from oil mister and misted nonstick skillet w/ EVOO oil mister to cut the fat content. Could only get skin on salmon so cooked skin side down for 10 min. You can use any variety of veggies"

Reviewed Chocolate Cupcakes and Peanut Butter Icing

"They were a bit dry and the frosting was ok. They were just ok, won't make again. Try Beattys chocolate cake on this website"

Reviewed Drunken Penne Pasta

"Soooooo good. I chopped the proscuitto and lightly fried it in a frying pan, then set aside for use later in recipe as I don't have a deep frier to "flash fry". This pasta was sooo good. Also only used half and half instead of cream and it was awesome."

Reviewed Paula's Volcano Cake

"Off the hook good. Ate a piece while still warm, it was like a chocolate lava cake. Very rich and full of calories but you only need a small piece. Followed recipe exactly except used vanilla extract instead of almond. Puffs quite a bit while cooking so use 2-3 inch deep pan"

Reviewed Pork Tenderloin with Root Vegetables

"Made marinade exactly as written. Sorry, it was just not that good. I think it was the cinnamon that ruined it. ""

Reviewed Indonesian Ginger Chicken

"This was so good. I cut recipe in half and used boneless skinless thighs. It was awesome. Would use low sodium soy sauce though. "

Reviewed Chocolate Gooey Butter Cookies

"I think these tasted like half baked chocolate cake mix. Use a stand mixer also, about burnt out my hand mixer. They just need something else, maybe chips or a flavored extract or espresso powder. I'm surprised the reviews were so high, I was disappointed.
