"The sugar should be added to the liquid ingredients. Alton Brown said that on one of his episodes and he was correct. Too much baking powder. The liquid levels were a little short I thought. Added about 1/4 cup more milk. I need to look for Nigella's recipe and I wish I had kept her book. Hard to believe that this gets 3 stars. To each there own I""
