we really enjoyed this.. was worried about them falling apart in the pan and forgot to throw them in the fridge to firm them up before putting in the pan (doh!), but they came out just fine.. i cut the recipe in half and made two burger size patties.. i put bf's in a roll.. added a little more Old Bay than the recipe called for and made my own mustard...

i used chicken broth instead of stock.. ended up dicing the radishes in order to get more of the sauce infused.. didn't add the sugar bc i dont like anything remotely sweet.. used onion instead of shallot.. next time i'll slice the radishes to soak up more of the juice"

this came out pretty good.. i ended up using veggie oil and next time will use only 1 T as 4 just seemed too much.. i only used one onion and i halved the turmeric, but will quarter it next time as i'm not a huge fan.. didnt have lemon so i had to use limes.. broccoli could have been cooked longer.. and i didnt see too much of a point w the flour...
