Reviewed Authentic Swedish Meatballs
"this is an authentic recipe for swedish meatballs. i married a swede and his gamla mor mor (old mother's mother) taught me to make them just like this. the secrets that you must follow are these.... always grate the onions very fine, including the onion juice and make your meatballs small. not like italian meatballs, but about double the size o..."
Reviewed Tex Mex Chicken Taco Soup
"VERY GOOD! but... a lot of changes, once I checked the fridge. my son ate my leftover turkey, so I had Mexican chorizo i used for meat. Didn't have bell peppers, so omitted them. same with the hominy. instead I used 2 cans of corn. also substituted ranch beans for black beans. The rest of the recipe was prepared intact and it was a big hit! so glad i did not abandon the recipe because of lack of ingredients. The changes were great. Even my picky Irish husband loved it! oops, forgot to mention. if you like to cook mexican food, save yourself some money and get a recipe on line for taco seasoning. make it at home in quantity and put in a jar to keep. then spoon out as needed for tacos, burritos, soup, etc. saves a lot of money on DOLLAR spice packets."

Reviewed Chorizo Taquitos
"these are great. i used beef chorizo. use the most expensive brand with the least fat, then drain the grease before you add the cheese and salsa. baking them in the oven is genius, that way they aren't fried, but are crispy. usually i am not impressed with sandra lee, but this recipe is excellent."
Reviewed Cola-Braised Pot Roast
"first of all, the photo showing the meat is totally gross! it looks nothing like that. this is the best roast recipe ever! the herb mixture that you stuff into roast is sublime. i put my vegetables in during the last hour and they soak up the wonderful flavors. my 20 something kids and all their friends look forward to this recipe. we all soak it up with baguettes. when roast is on sale remember this recipe. good enough to serve guests!"
Reviewed Sweet Chicken Bacon Wraps
"delicious! made these for large party on superbowl sunday. used thighs, because i think they are more moist and flavorful. made a ton of them and they went so fast. great finger food for all occasions. this summer i think i will make these during bbqs and let everyone munch on them while waiting for the meat to come off the grill. please try and enjoy. another plus is that they aren't too spicy for kids.
Reviewed Chipotle Shrimp Taco with Avocado Salsa Verde
"delicioso! this was fabulous. had company over and it turned out so nice. the salsa was very time consuming, but we made extra, which we will refrigerate and use in burritos. doubled the recipe, but only used one jalapeno which we seeded. this made the salsa flavorful, but not hot. the kids used the hot sauces we had on hand to spice it up more if they so chose.
