I didn't rate this as high as most of her recipes because I found it to be too rich... too much butter to balance out the mushrooms. I would make it again but next time cut the butter way down.

This recipe is wonderful. I followed the recipe (using tomato paste/cayenne instead of Harissa). I was worried it would be too spicy but it wasn't.... In fact, my husband and I thought it could use more heat. Make sure you have plenty of bread because you will want to eat every drop of the broth. I highly recommend!

Reviewed Mac and Cheese

This recipe is fantastic. I've never liked Mac and Cheese but my two young sons and husband do so I thought I'd try a homemade recipe. It was pretty time consuming but worth every minute. Don't leave out the tomatoes (as many reviewers suggested). They provide a great contrast to the gooey cheese. I used a crumbled up pack of Ritz with melted butter...

Delish! Made this for dinner on "back to school" eve for my two boys (5&7) and husband. It was a huge hit! The boys raved it was their favorite meal EVER! Dipped strawberries, bananas, pineapple, graham crackers, marsh mellows, angel food cake, and pound cake. My favorites were the graham crackers and bananas. ""
