I was nervous about the batter - it was so much more thin that normal cake batter, but they baked fine, and they do have a different texture but still moist. Frosting - I could not taste the champagne at all, and I added more. It tasted like butter to me, 4 sticks worth. I read another review that said they spread a bit of the puree on the cupc"
