Reviewed Homemade Granola Bars

Sep 9, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Oh Ina! Disappointed. You usually make the best stuff, hands down, but this one still needs some work. These came out way too sweet, like biting into solidified honey. Just way too much honey flavor and really sticky. Maybe swapping out some honey for some corn syrup or peanut butter, or something...

If you have the time, this is amazing. I'll never, and I mean NEVER, buy granola again. This recipe is not too sweet and it's hearty, so a little goes a long way so that you feel satisfied. Easy! I used several different kinds of bread with this recipe, all with good results. My favorite so far has been using a homemade Sweet Orange bread = AMAZING! Also, made this for a holiday brunch for a couple of folks that were lactose intolerant, so subbed in french vanilla soy milk and used soy based margarine. So tasty, it was hard to t...

Quintessential American dinner roll. No more frozen rolls, no more from the bakery. These we easy to make- I don't understand the "Difficult" rating it got. If you weighed everything out, like the recipe calls for, then it turns out just fine, not wet or sticky like previous posters. I made three batches 4/24 for Easter Sunday dinner, just to f"
