I am making this again tonight for about the 5th time. It is a staple dinner for my husband and me. My grandson came to visit and since he loves shrimp I made it for him. . .extras, of course. Delicious! I used mashed potatoes instead of penne because I had some left. There are only two of us so I had 1lb.of quite large, boneless short ribs. I didn't cut the recipe down though, but did add a stalk of celery, an onion and a large carrot. Used a can of whole plum tomatoes, cut into 8ths with juice added. 21/2 hours later I had this beaut"

These popovers are scrumptious. . .a little zip, subtlely cheesy. A real hit at my table. In fact, I'm eating some of the leftovers now. Thank you, Sunny, for a treat for the senses.
