Reviewed Sarah's PB&J Chocolate Bars

Mar 24, 2014 on

When I saw that this recipe was supposed make 3 dozen bars I decided to make them last weekend for snacks at church after the service. However, when I read that they were to be made in an 8" square baking pan, there is no way you could get 3 dozen out of that size of a pan. How small are you supposed to cut them? I decided to take something else to...

It's a keeper. A bit labor intensive, but very worth it. I followed the recipe exactly. It needs to cook a bit longer than the recipe recommends. I made this recipe just as written, but I still cooked it in a cooking bag. It was so flavorful and moist. It was a big hit with our dinner guests. I'm accustomed to a sage flavor and I missed that. I will use this recipe again, but add the sage or poultry seasoning. "

Reviewed Butternut Squash and Apple Soup

Nov 10, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

Not my favorite butternut squash soup recipe (and I have many), but I wanted to try something new. I followed the recipe exactly because I always like to try it as written the first time. If I decide to make it again I will roast the squash first for two reasons - easier to just scoop out the squash and avoid having to peel it (it's a pain!, and ...
