My Activity

Reviewed Baked Stuffed Shrimp with Crabmeat Stuffing

"Made this for Valentine's dinner. Great taste! The depth of flavor was definitely better than other bland recipes I've tried in the past. I served them with rice pilaf, steamed broccoli and a small bowl of butter to dip (a must!), YUM! I will definitely make this again, maybe adding a little more garlic. Restaurant quality!"

Reviewed Sourdough, Wild Mushroom, and Bacon Dressing

"Made this for Thanksgiving dinner tonight and everyone raved it was the best stuffing they ever had. I agreed! I was slightly nervous about the amount of bread cubes that a 24 oz sourdough boule made, and contemplated making a double recipe but after I made it like the recipe (with the addition of one diced carrot and two diced celery stalks, like"

Reviewed Brie En Croute

"After looking for the perfect Thanksgiving appetizer, I thought I "settled" on this recipe. But, this has to be one of the most simple, yet impressive and delicious appetizers I have made. It was gone in minutes! I'm not a huge fan of brie, mostly because I've always had it straight from the box, but this was a recipe I will definitely use again. "

Reviewed Rustic Vegetable and Polenta Soup

"I made this for dinner after seeing Giada make it on TV this afternoon. Looked so easy that I HAD to try it! Its a much more hearty soup than the recipe makes it sound but its DELICIOUS! Nice and smooth and buttery. 5 stars, will make this again!""

Reviewed Swiss Chard and Sweet Pea Manicotti (Winter

"Made this last week with our farm coop swiss chard, SO GOOD! Perfect the way the recipe is, I didn't make any changes. Even my kids, 1.5 and 2.5 years ate it all! Saving this one for the future"

Reviewed French Onion Soup

"This is the second time I've made this and it rates better than most restaurant versions I've had. I followed the recipe exactly(using HUGE onions) but used beef broth I made from our roasted and boiled down prime rib roast ribs... YUM! After using both store bought broth and homemade broth, it really does pay to use your own, a much richer soup for sure. Better using red wine than brandy in other recipes I've made. A definite try if you are on the fence.
