"Great recipe with modifications suggested by previous reviewers. Definitely double the pumpkin and add pumpkin pie spice and nutmeg. I simmered on low heat a lot longer because I kept adding more pumpkin, spices, hot sauce, etc. until I liked the taste. Also used thyme, 1 c cream only, and added 1/2 tsp chicken base (Better Than Bouillon). ""
