My husband and I made this for Mothers Day after lunch. Despite my hubby dumping all the buttermilk in all at once and not having a 91/2 round pan it was scrumptuous. I'm glad I saw the show so I picked up the almond milk at the store because I knew I had seen and heard her mention that. I thought she used bittersweet chocolate on the show, but I followed the recipe, I would use bittersweet chocolate next time and let agave as well. I loved the almond milk and the avocados were wonderful. It was really thick"

I have not tried this recipe YET, but I have read the reviews. I have a family recipe for a pound cake that has come out as some of you described. The secret was in the pan.
