Reviewed Fried Green Beans and Wasabi Ranch

May 24, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

First batch realized my oil was not quite hot enough. I let the oil heat longer before adding the next batch and the green bean batter was perfectly crunchy, while the beans were cooked just right! 2 lbs were just enough for the four of us and a happy toddler. (simple ranch dressing was what we gave the baby) she gobbled them up.
Thanks...

Reviewed Beef Stroganoff

Used stew beef instead of cubed steak, so it had to simmer a bit longer to cook tender. I added red cooking wine to the gravy and let that simmer before adding sour cream. A lot like grammas. Loved it and ALWAYS appreciate the queen deen! Thanks"

Reviewed Pork-Stuffed Collard Greens

Just tried this last nite for the second time. First time I thought was a bit too dry. My pork was not overcooked so I added 1 can of Campbells Tomato Soup, no water added to the soup. This added a nice a flavor and made a great sauce for rice I made to go with dinner! Thanks Sunny."
