Reviewed Stracotto (Pot Roast with Porcini Mushrooms

Sep 4, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This was amazing! I love pot roast but my husband on the other hand is more for meat and potatoes NO veggies. So this was the perfect pot roast for our family. The gravy was the best, very flavorful! Will definitely be making it more often."

This was a great breakfast!! The eggs were fluffy and moist. Adding your own special touch as far as different fresh herbs is also tasty. We made this recipe as well as a Mexican style as well. Both were very yummy!! My new favorite way to cook an omelet. "

YUMMM!! This dish was definitely quick and easy but full of flavor. My girls nor my husband complained about the greens which was great. I followed the recipe from the video which showed Giada boiling the broth then adding the dried mushrooms and removing them from the stove instead of adding the mushrooms in the broth and waiting for it to boil. YUM YUM YUM!!!!! This was amazing. The sauce is sooo good. Definitely a keeper. A couple of things I did differently because of the ratings was I did half of the wine and the other half vegetable stock. I also added thyme because I had it in the refrigerator, Italian seasoning for flavor, and half salt and the other half chicken bouillon. Such a g"

Reviewed Grilled Corn with Feta Cheese

Jun 3, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This was AMAZING!!!! It is definitely a staple in our home. Our 4 and 6 yr old girls LOVE it too. We try to make these at least twice a month, that's how good and simple they are. The feta is the perfect cheese for the corn. Not too strong. And the lime in the mayo adds a burst of flavor without being too sour. GREAT DISH!!"

Reviewed Smoked Mozzarella and Ricotta Fritters

These cheese balls were ok. The mozzarella was a bit too strong for us. We made it with our steak and the marinade that we used for the steak tasted exactly like the cheese. However, making them was very easy. I had no problem with frying them, they came out looking just like Giada's. Very crunchy, but will definitely try it with a milder cheese. "

These were amazeballs! My girls love these for the taste and because they get to help form and stuff the meatballs. This is perfect for getting the kids in the kitchen and educating them on what they are eating. You never fail us G!"

Reviewed Rolled Chicken Sandwich with Arugula and Parsley Aioli

Jul 20, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

A bit too earthy for our tastebuds. We didn't even add the extra arugula inside the wrap. We added cheese and red onion. Needs more of a kick. If we make it again, it will be less healthy. Maybe some tomato, onion, cheese, cream cheese spread, and bacon!"
