"I made this last night for some friends who came over to watch football, and they seemed to really enjoy it! I left out the coffee to save $ (plus not everyone who was supposed to be here are coffee fans and it was still delish. If you didn't have cream on hand, you could skip the topping too. It does make for a lovely presentation, but it doesn't make or break the dessert. I don't have a stand mixer, just a hand mixed, and that worked ok. I used a 9" glass pie pan (I don't think she used a tart pan in the video and that worked fine, though it seemed to rise higher than hers. Checking for doneness is tricky, though watching her do it in the video helps. I think mine was a little overdone b/c the top seemed a little thick. Will def. make this again."
