Best soup I have ever had!! Went to Mesa Grill in Las Vegas last weekend. Had to have this again. Recipe on this website is not accurate, way too much liquid. See the link I have attached. This is the correct one.

YUMMY, and so many depths of flavor. Will definitely make again! I served with Alton Brown's garlic mashed potatoes. Used Ina's suggestion for wine, the Cote du Rhone Trader Joe's has it for $6.99) and used a 7.5 quart Dutch oven. After adding bottle of wine, I only needed 1/4 cup beef broth so as not to completely cover meat. Cooked suggested cooking...

Best gravy! So easy, lots of compliments! Doubled for Thanksgiving dinner. If you have immersion blender, suggest you use it to get a little smoother texture because of large amount of chopped onions. Will try next with beef stock for beef dishes. Last post! I have made these at least three dozen time, sometimes pooling, sometimes not. This morning I decided to put them in cupcake pan and they came out perfect. Sprayed pan and filled 3/4 of the way full. No pooling and perfectly shaped! Did not use paper liners and they browned beautifully.
