I don't really care if it's authentic szechuan or not, it was just plain good! I subbed in rice wine vinegar because I didn't have any sherry vinegar and added in fresh snow and sugar snap peas from the garden. It was delicious!"

What a disaster! I froze the log of bacon/apple/prune for 8 hours (I made it in the morning before work) and the middle of the pork loin was still raw 35 minutes into cooking! It took 1 hour and 15 minutes to cook through, the outside was a shriveled dry mess, despite my adding chicken broth as needed. Not a crowd please when they have to wait an...
