"I think I added too much salt. The recipe said add a generous amount, but I should have followed my first mind and gradually add in salt. It wasn't terrible, but I'm gonna give it another try."

For the onions try this:
1/2 cup flour
1 onion, cut into thin rings
2 cups vegetable oil
salt and pepper to taste
Season the flour with salt and pepper. Dredge the onions in the seasoned flour. In a saucepan, heat the vegetable oil. When the oil is hot, add the onions and fry until crispy and golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from the oil and drain on a paper towels. Season the onions with salt and pepper.
"This was so good! I took the advice of a previous reviewer and used equal amounts of chicken and beef stock. Just a beautiful dish!
"Not bad. Certainly edible, but not worth the time or money it takes to make it. Too many ingredients! Better off buying.
"This was so good! I didn't have to add or omit anything! Just a beautiful dish!
