"WOW! Just as I remembered prepared tableside for my dear late husband and me from a Lake Tahoe restaurant years ago. I reduced some beef stock, red wine and thyme instead of the veal stock.and upped the brandy just a bit. Used fresh chives and parsley from my garden in place of the green onions. Fablulous flavors! Prep ahead and this goes together"

"Great presentation! Tender tatoes inside and crispy outside. Salt and freshly ground pepper is a must here. I was taste testing this at our annual family Xmas dinner a few nights ago for a holiday party I'm catering for 12 in two weeks. I followed the recipe but added more garlic between the cuts. Did not do Sunny's topping. I used some homemade pesto mixed with a bit of sour cream. Got raves! Can't wait to do it again for my clients. You have to try this!

"Awesome!!! I did this for a catered 6 course dinner last week and everyone asked for seconds! I served in small punch bowl cups so clients could sip or spoon, with a prosciutto crisp garni on top. Stuck to recipe otherwise. Wonderful green color. You can't go wrong with this one.
