Reviewed Crostini with Tuna Tapenade

"I record Ina's show to watch later in the evening. When I compare the printed instructions to the recorded TV show there are mistakes regarding measurements of ingredients in the printed material that are different from the actual show. In the case of this recipe, 1 cup of mascarpone to 1/3 cup is quite a mistake.

In the printed version of ingredients for Ina's Roasted Salmon Nicoise Platter, the recipe calls for 'the juice and zest of 4 lemons'. On checking the TV version, Ina uses only the 'zest of 4 lemons', no juice. The uncut lemons are sitting on the counter. The paste Ina spreads over the salmon is 'dry'. If the juice is used it would create a 'wet' paste, looking nothing like what Ina prepared. I tend to favor Ina's TV versions over the FN's printed versions as I feel she's the cook and doing it right. Ah, the advantages of recorded TV.

I prepared the salmon according to the TV directions and it was delicious. The TV version is always correct."
