This recipe is wonderful, the secret is the lemon juice in the end, before I added the lemon juice I was wondering where is the taste? But it all comes together after the lemon juice is in. I did not add water, just broth and did not add salt, also I only had dried parsley which added to the broth instead of putting it in the end. Keeper for sure,"

I have made this recipe several times by now. I find that I like to mix a tbs of Dijon mustard and half of onion mix instead of salt and pepper. I also have sub the red wine for sherry, beer, whatever I have on hand opened. Delicious the way as written too!!! Keeper for sure, on the crockpot also turns out well."
