My Activity

Reviewed Sesame Noodles

"Shut up! This is so good! So simple! And needs nothing. I read other reviews and considered adding veggies, but didn't, and it is perfect! Maybe a second time I might add something, but it really doesn't need it. Served cold or warm, perfect! (and I don't make a lot of rachel ray's things but thought I'd give it a shot-like it!!)"

Reviewed Roasted Butternut Squash Salad with Warm Cider Vinaigrette

"Delicious! I always forget something though. Forgot the salt & pepper in the dressing, but didn't miss it. I discovered I was out of walnuts but had pine nuts so used them. The only thing is, I wished my squash had more brown bits from roasting. Just didn't get them, even after turning up the temp and putting back in for a bit. Still delish "

Reviewed Goat Cheese, Lentil and Brown Rice Rolls

"this was delicious!!! (I didn't personally care for the mint, but that's me) not fun boiling rice, lentils, and greens (I had to use cabbage as no swiss chard around) but the end result was fab!! With a lovely baguette, filling and healthy. Yum!"

Reviewed Chicken Sausage Frittata with Side Salad

"I made this exactly to the recipe. Amount of egg whites was great. Many previous comments were about the chef, not about the recipe. I don't get the show where I live, but was looking for a healthy meal using chicken sausage. This was delicious! Oh, I did add some scallions with the cilantro."

Reviewed Zucchini Pancakes

"I love Ina, but this is the worst recipe I've tried of hers. She should've said to squeeze excess liquid out of the zucchini before adding anything to it. Even still, they fell apart, stuck to the pan, terrible. I've made several recipes with zucchini this year, and they worked, this one didn't."

Reviewed White Chili

"Really good and super easy! my only substitutions were green pepper for poblano and corn for hominy as I couldn't get these where I live. The only thing I would change next time, is to take one can of beans and some of the ch.broth and pulse in my food processor before adding to the pot. This gives the dish a creamier base, less broth like. And"

Reviewed Caramelized Onion, Mushroom and Gruyere Quiche with Oat Crust

"I made this last night. I don't like mushrooms, so I used some things I had on hand. I threw in some spinach and sliced tomatoes on top. Otherwise kept everything the same, it was delicious!"

Reviewed Cod with Roasted Tomato Salsa

"This was SO tasty!! And the only change I made was to pulse half the tomato salsa and left half chunky. Recipe is a keeper!!"
