My Activity

Reviewed Quinoa Tabbouleh

"Just made this and it was great!! I used 1/2 parsley and 1/2 cilantro rather than all parsley. Very light and fluffy. One reviewer said it was soggy because the bulgar in tradtional tabbouleh would have soaked up the liquid. This made sense so I used plum tomatoes and seeded and chopped them. I also seeded my cucumber. "

Reviewed BRAISED SHORT RIBS

"Very tasty. Based on other reviews I used red wine instead of vinegar. I also used canned tomatoes and their liquid and reduced the broth a bit. There was still quite a bit of "gravy" left and as another reviewer did, I froze it and used it in beef stew -- delicious!"

Reviewed Arroz Con Pollo

"Just made this last week. It was great! I used dried chorizo sausage instead of the ham and did add some olives. The pasta was a nice addition."

Reviewed Salmon Salad

"This was fantastic! First time I made it with salmon -- I used the salmon in a foil pouch and it worked fine. I used it in a stuffed tomato. Next time I substituted lump crab for the salmon -- better yet. Next time I make the salad with crab, I will try it with Old Bay Seafood seasoning to replace the cayenne. What a simple summer dish. Well, I"
