My Activity

Reviewed Roasted Butternut Squash Salad with Warm Cider Vinaigrette

"Delicious salad! Got rave reviews at the office potluck. Only thing I would mention is that the dressing takes more than 6-8 minutes to thicken. (mine took about 20 minutes)

Reviewed Roasted Potatoes, Carrots, Parsnips and Brussels Sprouts

"Only modification I made was to up the amount of salt. 1/4 teaspoon seemed too little. Vegetables turned out great and were very well received by everyone!

Reviewed Pumpkin Maple Pecan Cheesecake

"Several reasons for my 1 star rating
1) Final product didn't have the texture of a cheesecake. Mine rose up like a souffle in the oven even though I didn't overbeat the batter. The top got brown and crusty. The only thing that tasted good was the maple pecan topping.
2) Recipe did not include any tips from the chef on using a water bath, preventing cracking etc.
3) Recipe is identical to the Eagle Brand maple pumpkin cheesecake http://www.eaglebrand.com/recipes/details/default.aspx?recipeID=3981
What a rip off. I'm so disappointed.
