Reviewed Sausage and Apple Stuffed Pork Roast

Sep 28, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I made this roast for Christmas last year and it was great. I had my butcher butterfly the loin so the only "hard" part was trussing the meat since I don't need to do that very often. The stuffing was flavorful and had all the sentiments of the season. I definitely plan on making it again this year. "

Another easy and tasty recipe from Melissa. I made these a while ago for a football party and fashioned the barbecue sauce to look like laces of a football. They were a big hit! I now LOVE to put a touch of BBQ sauce on hard boiled eggs, yummy. "

Love this recipe! Super quick and delicious! The pesto gives such a fresh flavor to the sweet shrimp, it is a great combination. I made this with the lentil quinoa salad from the same episode and it was a perfect match just as promised. (My father's plate looked like he had licked it clean so I know my company enjoyed it too)

Super easy and delicious recipe. (Especially with a nice glass of red wine) I did butter and flour my pan as others suggested and my cakes slid out effortlessly. I will definitely make this again. "

Reviewed Angel Food Cake

Another fantastic recipe from Melissa! I have never made angel food cake and this was a snap. I was going to make shortcake for some strawberries I needed to get rid of but didn't have all the ingredients on hand. I'm so happy I found this recipe as an alternative. The cake is light, sweet and has a wonderful vanilla flavor. This is my new go-t"

Reviewed Baked Orange Pecan French Toast

Jan 12, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Delicious recipe and soooo easy. I did use a bit of honey in the syrup as I found it was a bit too buttery for my liking and I love orange with honey. The French toast is buttery and has a nice light orange flavor. It comes out crispy on the outside and velvety on the inside, perfect. I will definitely make this again, it is a great brunch dish "
