way too much flour even with the 1/2 cup. the filling had a doughy taste. Also way too much sugar. If making again, I will cut out most of the flour, almost half the sugar and add the sqeeze of lemon. "

I used only lean ground beef for the meatballs, made them a bit smaller and browned them first before putting them in the soup. Next time I will try just cooking them in the broth which might give the broth a bit more flavor.

I'm not sure what went wrong here - followed the directions well. The flour dredging ended up partly sticking to the scallops and partly falling off once the wine was introduced. The wine was way too strong of a flavor for the light scallops. Wish I had omitted both the flour dredge and the wine. Perhaps the lemon too- way too tangy"
