"Great versatile recipe. I, too, thought it was too tomatoey but let it simmer longer than the recipe called for and all the other flavors came through!! I followed the recipe except added the only meat I had on hand - beef tenderloin. It was amazing. Will add other good-for-you-veggies next time and probably skip the pasta noodles as well."
