My Activity

Reviewed Good Eats Roast Turkey

"Cooked to 161 and covered in foil. It never cooked any further and light blood ran out after 30 min when we carved. Nightmare. My guests asked me to put their slices in the oven. It needs to go until 165. Although tasty I am a bit mad this year."

Reviewed Good Eats Roast Turkey

"I made this Turkey recipe last year. It was great and juicy but took 4 hrs (I bought the probe thermometer AB uses on the clips). I have one oven so I had to use the other shelf for side dishes that needed 60 min. Opening the oven and putting in the side dishes must have added the extra time. I had a house full of unhappy people b/c of the extra 1 1/2 hrs. Take this into consideration if you too only have a single oven.
