I did not enjoy these. They had such a strong and salty flavor which was a bit much. I thought rinsing would help with the saltiness but it did not. The technique and frying went very well so I may try again with a milder olive and filling.

This was a nice dish but if I make it again I will make some adjustments for personal taste reasons. I thought the sauce was a little too sweet and too salty. The recipe was very easy to follow and like many reviewers, I too used cornstarch instead of the arrowroot without any problems.

This makes a great cut out cookie! The cookie does not spread out in the oven, holding its cut out shape. My family loved the taste because it is not too sweet like some sugar cookies can be. I found the dough was a little "crumbly" while rolling out but I think this is because I used an egg substitute (my son is allergic to eggs.) I'm assuming...
