Just Perfect. The first time I made it, we were savoring each mouth full and then I realized I forgot to put the shrimp in. Just fantastic with or without shrimp.

Love, Love, Love!! Just like the recipe states, no changes needed. We especially love the mayonaise sauce. We make it all the time and use it on other sandwiches and on fish too. Good one Giada.

Husband loved this recipe. Reminded him of our trip to New Orleans. Used Saag's Classic, fully cooked, andouille sausage.

Liked the recipe but spiced it up a little. Instead of using regular canned tomatoes, I used Ro-Tel Tomatoes and Green Chiles. Plus, I added 1 small can of chopped green chiles between the layers. If you are in a rush you could use store bought or Schwan's frozen chicken breast pieces. My family swooned.
