"Very good. I only gave it a 4, though given the option, it would have been a 4.5. The reason is because I used crisco butter flavored shortening in place of. I never buy margarine, as it is like buying plastic to me. Otherwise, these tasted fantastic!

"oh my goodness...this is so good!!! I mean, *really* good. I used a just under 3 lb chuck roast, but I didn't change the amounts in anything else. I did shorten the cooking time to about 2.5 hours. very good!!!!!
