My Activity

Reviewed Raspberry Cheesecake

"I made this dessert early Saturday before Christmas day. It was hard to follow at all. I was worried about having the oven door open due to my cat but I had him in another room just in case he was curious. The dessert was thick and creamy. I was worried about the taste because I could only find Raspberry preserves with seeds but it didn't effe""

Reviewed Chicken Piccata

"I like the Chicken Piccata dish at the Cheesecake factory and wanted to find a similar recipe. I made this tonight. I read the reviews before making it. So I was cautious with salt and thought about the 2 lemons as I squeezed. I paired it with instant mash potatoes with butter and garlic. It didn't taste cripsy or similar to the C. Factory. I rather go there for it. But her recipe is pretty simple with a punch of lemon. It must be good to them with the wine*. Nice dish for a summer night dinner on the patio with a date. Tip: instead of pouring the sauce on the chicken, allow the chicken to soak a little in the pan (Less bitter).

About Me

26 year old that loves to cook!  Never knew how much I would enjoy it until I got my own place and impressed by my cooking results.

I try cooking dishes I've had that my mother never cooked.  I grew up on simple cooking.  Baked chicken and side veggies. I like to eat out so instead of packing on the pounds (fat & salt), i'm cooking the meals from scratch.  Since then fast food taste horrible...i use to get sweet tea with everything...too much sugar.

I would like to start making mexican dishes that come out successfully.
